Fredrik LindbergGeneral Partner
Fredrik is General Partner.
Fredrik has over 25 years’ experience of managing global IT and smart product businesses. He has extensive experience developing and launching products as well as transforming ideas into sellable products based on real market needs. As a former CEO and CFO, Fredrik is an expert in organizational and operational design, setting up processes, structures and securing venture financing. Another of his skills is to challenge business strategies until they are possible to put into actions.
Fredrik has a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering. He is also a passionate table tennis player competing in Sweden and abroad. Fredrik is building deep personal relationships with key partners by playing table tennis with managers and workers in Asia and especially China, the home of table tennis. The challenge for Fredrik is to lose when appropriate!

Johan NybergGeneral Partner
Johan is CEO and General Partner.
Johan has been working in CEO/MD positions for more than 20 years.
At Certus Johan’s area of focus has been centered around managing existing investments and finding new business opportunities.
Johan’s expertise is organizational and strategy development. This includes coaching and training managers how to handle the increasing speed of change in businesses by helping them to build organizations capable of managing complexity. Johan has recently built a management consultant organization specializing in helping organizations become faster at decision making by using lean and agile ways of working.
Johan has studied Engineering Physics at Uppsala University.
Johan spends his summers together with his family in the Stockholm archipelago enjoying the closeness to nature when he doesn’t join his son attending rock concerts!

Anthony GrechGeneral Partner
Anthony is CEO and Managing Partner, Malta.
Prior to joining Certus, Anthony has held various leadership positions in investment strategy, corporate finance, and venture capital.
Anthony started his career as an equity research analyst, analyzing and valuing companies across various industries. His insightful views on companies and capital markets were frequently featured in Bloomberg, Financial Times and London’s CityAM. As he progressed in his career, Anthony started working on valuation assignments for high profile M&A and Private Equity transactions. Combining his passion for entrepreneurship, technology, and investments, Anthony moved into venture capital, where he developed his own system for selecting early-stage tech startups. He also serves on the board of a various technology companies.
Anthony holds an Executive MBA with Distinction from Bayes Business School (formerly Cass Business School). He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Manchester, where he achieved an upper-second class BA with Honours in International Business, Finance and Economics.

Markus EnholmGeneral Partner
Markus is General Partner.
Markus is a business-focused leader and entrepreneur with over 25 years of experience leading technology focused international organizations.
Markus is passionate about developing ideas into successful global commercial products, with approximately 100 hardware products in his track record. Markus is an expert in managing the entire product chain from concept, design and development, to industrialization, manufacturing, sales and distribution. His focus is to maximize long-term product portfolio profitability. He constantly challenges specifications and processes, his most common phrase being “What is the purpose?”
Markus holds an M.Sc in Engineering and a B.Sc in Marketing.
Being a passionate skier and mountaineer, Markus has climbed and skied most of the 4000m mountains in the Alps. Having experienced and measured the dramatic retreat of Alpine glaciers during the last 30 years, Markus has developed a growing urge to minimize climate change, something also reflected in Certus values and processes.

Desmond WongManaging Partner, Hong Kong
Desmond is Managing Director and Managing Partner, Hong Kong.
Desmond is based in Hong Kong. He has over 30 years’ experience in working with European companies mostly from Sweden and Germany. Before joining Certus, Desmond held executive level positions in various reputable companies in Hong Kong such as Jardine, Hutchison and Hong Kong Telephone Co Ltd.
He has also participated in developing over 50 different hardware devices working with manufacturers located in Korea, Taiwan and China.
Desmond Graduated from Hong Kong Polytechnic University and is an Associate member of Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants and The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants UK since 1990.
Desmond is also a talented and passionate table tennis player who really can dig into the psychology aspects of life while enjoying the tannins and fruit in a great Shiraz with a tender lamb chop and goose liver in the teppanyakis of Hong Kong!

Dorita Micallef Financial Controller
Dorita is Financial Controller.
Before joining Certus Dorita headed the finance department of a private aviation company. Dorita holds a B. Accountancy (Hons) and is a Certified Public Accountant and Auditor with over 14 years’ experience in Finance.
Dorita enjoys travelling and exploring other cultures. Dorita has also been an active volunteer in a local NGO (Non-Government Organization) working with adolescents.
